Summertime is here!

Hello Brothers and Sisters,
June 21, 2008 - I hope life is treating you well. As most of you may or may not know we will receive a COLA wage increase as of July. 1, 2008 that amounts to $0.26/hr. Norfolk-Southern in turn increased our contribution to Healthcare by $20.00/month so we actually came through with a $20/month raise. This would not have been too bad of an increase if it weren't for the greediness of the Carriers wanting us to pay more and more for our insurance. So it looks like we will continue to see our contribution to H&W continue to rise regardless of whether we sign a contract or not.
