Hello Brothers and Sisters,
Nov. 11, 2009 - Fall like temps are starting to come in finally. From what I've been told Norfolk-Southern has begun to put back into service some of the rolling stock that has been in storage for quite sometime, so that's an excellent sign that things are turning around. Thanks Craig Parks
I was recently informed that Paul Smoot has returned to work.
I had my spinal surgery double spinal fusion in the lower back on Sept. the 28th and spent 5 days in the hospital. The Dr. says he found exactly what he expected to find once he got in. I have 6" long incision running vertically down my spine. No driving or riding in a car for a month or more. The incision pain is tremendous but I have pain Meds. I'm getting around with a cane for now. Hopefully in month things will be a bit back normal. It's surprising how hard it is to get out or in of a bed without bending your back. There no lifting of more than about 2 lbs. for a month.
Hello Brothers and Sisters,
We held our Awards Banquet earlier this year at the Texas Land and Cattle in Charlotte. Here are some photos taken during this joyous event. We had an excellent turnout and saw some folks we hadn't seen in years.
